He was born in Anderson, SC where he attended T.L. Hanna High School and made history by being the first African American to win Mr. T.L. Hanna. He now resides in Eastover, SC with his wife and three children. Kelly is a first generation college graduate receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Lander University. After graduating from Lander University, he received his commission as an officer and served in the US Army Infantry Division. After completing his military duty, Kelly pursued a career in the corporate sales industry. He worked for companies such as AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, Liberty Mutual and BB&T for a total of nine years.

assion to give back and work with youth, Kelly left the sales industry to work in education. He is currently the Student Success Coordinator and a certified Global Career Development Facilitator for the Richland One Middle College in Richland School District One. He is the founder and President of ROCNATION, Representing Our Christ throughout the Nations, a faith-based outreach program designed to impact the lives of youth through evangelism, education, sports and mentoring. He is an Elder at Truth Church and Ministries in Eastover, SC and serves as the associate pastor and youth pastor.
In his pursuit to changethe lives of youth and improve the morale, energy and bottom line of businesses across the world, Kelly started Get M.A.D."Get Motivated to Achieve your Dreams."
